Bayonne Bay is a new waterfront-oriented, mixed-residential community that incorporates a variety of town homes, stacked city-homes, condominiums, apartments, and public open spaces. Lessard Group has created a new, pedestrian-friendly community which will interface with the Maritime District across Memorial Boulevard while many of the southern residential blocks will have significant views to the bay onto the recreational harbor. Bay View Park will act as the district’s public outdoor activity space with pedestrian connections to the adjacent districts and to the extensive Hudson River Waterfront Walkway. Bayonne will contain approximately 1880 residential units in an imaginative plan which respects both the proposed street network, fabric as well as the adjacent open space network.
