Trump Plaza, which opened in 2007, is the tallest building in New Rochelle.  Situated on a 1.9 acre site in the downtown center, this 320,000 SF mixed-use development is a central component in the city’s comprehensive plan for revitalization and redevelopment.  The development features a luxurious 32-story high-rise with a total of 181 residential units on 30 floors; 150,000 SF of street-accessible retail located on the first 2 floors; and an underground parking facility with 240 spaces for residential use.  Parking for the retail space is provided by a pedestrian bridge that connects to an adjacent municipal parking garage.  In addition, the building’s design incorporates facade treatments, landscaping, building placement and varied building heights to enhance and compliment the character of the commercial area.  Lessard Group designed both the architecture and the interiors.
