The 10-story mixed-use structure, located between two Metro stations along one of the busiest commuter corridors in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, incorporates 143 residential units in 154,000 sq. ft. which sits on top of 5,725 sq. ft. of ground level retail space and a two-story underground parking garage. To meet the building height requirement and preserve the retail-oriented urban edge, the building’s facade steps back and features a street level pedestrian arcade. On a separate street, the building promotes a pedestrian friendly experience with walkup units as well as a main entry for the above residential units.
