Chatham Square is an innovative mixed-income community that is the redevelopment of a former public housing project. Two city blocks that were once home to 100 public housing units now feature a thriving mixed income community of 100 market rate, for-sale homes, and 52 low-income, public housing rental units. The challenge of seamlessly integrating public housing units within a high-end market-rate community was compounded by the site's location, making it subject to strict architectural and approval guidelines.
