King Farm Village is a mixed-use community located near Route 355 and I-270 off King Farm and Redland Boulevards. The Village Center, situated around the one-acre Village Green, provides residents convenient access to 120,000 SF of retail shops including a Safeway grocery store, dry cleaner, and hair salon. King Farm retains its suburban flavor but is styled to resemble the atmosphere of Old Town Alexandria. 200 loft apartments are located above the retail center. The remaining units in the community are 47 two- and three-bedroom rental townhomes. King Farm’s success is largely due to its pedestrian scale achieved through careful urban planning.
