Lessard has extensive experience with both Green Building and Sustainable Growth design.  We understand the significance of green building and our architects ensure our projects meet sustainable design standards, including the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED).  Lessard is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council.

 

In keeping with Lessard’s own stand as a green business and our clients’ desires to develop environmentally mindful projects, Lessard created a department of certified architects dedicated solely to sustainable design and green building practices. This department continuously seeks out cutting edge green design ideas from around the world and incorporates them with its own design plans to produce projects that move closer and closer to the goal of complete sustainability and carbon neutrality.

 

Whether the project is large or small, Lessard’s approach to securing the maximum level of sustainable design desired by our clients remains the same. Whenever possible, Lessard’s green building department suggests constructing with improved, environmentally safer or recycled building materials.  Renewable energy options are carefully researched and weighed against availability and project needs.  Whether a client would like to pursue a Gold or Platinum LEED level or simply a Certified status, Lessard’s team will guide the process and ensure a sound, environmentally-friendly design.
